I did some reading on Singapore’s power plants a month back and vaguely recalled that one, or maybe a couple of them specifically imports oil from Venezuela. Since then, I’ve been keep tabs on the world’s 5th largest exporter of oil, especially when it came under a new, and anti-American president, Hugo Chavez. I’ve been slack then and didn’t note down exactly how much oil Singapore imports from Venezuela. Assuming Singapore do import some oil from them, and that if this oil-for-arms deal go through with North Korea, wouldn’t it be kind of awkward for Singapore to continue to get oil from them?

Would you happen to know the following…
1. What is Singapore’s oil consumption rate?
2. Where does Singapore import its oil and gas from? (I think gas is from M’sia and Indonesia, but I’ve no idea about her oil.)
